Hi, My name is Anthony Smeraglia and alongside my wife, Natalie, we own and operate Grit and forage Farmstead. We were born and Raised in Vestavia Hills, Alabama, which is quite the opposite of Wilsonville, where we currently reside. Even though we grew up in the hustle and bustle of city life; we always felt a pull to the country. We wanted a place to be able to live out our passions and dreams, and a simpler life for our kids to grow up in. When my family and I moved to Wilsonville in 2016, we dove in hear first and we currently have goats, pigs, chickens, ducks, cows and a cat on our property. We feel a peace on our farm that whispers a soft assurance that this is home. We’re here to restore craftsmanship and trust in this industry.
In a world that has gone cookie cutter, where everything is processed, uniform and mass produced, we intend to be a breath of fresh air.
